Barbara Cameron gives us a story filled with passion and intrigue in SCRAPS OF EVIDENCE. Tess and Logan are strong characters who have great chemistry together, both professionally and personally. The supporting characters are a great mix and help to carry out the story's plot. Ms. Cameron has skillfully woven in the theme of quilting to help Tess and Logan find the killer. She also gives us a delightful tour of St. Augustine as Tess introduces this historical town and its splendor to Logan. This inspirational story has both Tess and Logan renewing their faith in God and their faith in love, although they still question why bad things happen to good people. There is just the right touch of romance in this mystery to round out a great read.

Book Summary

Tess has taken some ribbing from her fellow officer, Logan, for her quilting hobby. He finds it hard to align the brisk professional officer he patrols with during the day with the one who quilts in her off–time. Besides, he's been trying to get to know her better and he'd like to be seeing her during those few nights a week she spends with her quilting guild.
