J.J. Grave has returned to the town of Bloody Mary once again after healing from physical and mental injuries. As soon as Jaye drives into the town she discovers a body. Now she has no choice but to call the death in and see Sheriff Jack Lawson her best friend and one of the people she has been staying away from. Jack brings her back on as corner and they work together as the bodies start to pile up to save their friend. As the case grows the FBI is brought in and before it is all over Jack and Jaye could both be out of a job or worse dead.

Liliana Hart brings back together the strong and real characters of Jack and Jaye and all the wonderful people in the town of Bloody Mary. The interaction between these people once again pulls you right into the story and keeps you there as you wish the best for their lives. The mistakes they make a true to the characters and the way they over come challenges while working tirelessly to solve the crimes and protect those they care about is magnificent. You have to appreciate the way the relationship are uncomplicated and genuine.
