Adonis is a former hunter turned vampire and he needs to save his family. Piaras, one of the most ruthless vampires in Dallas has them and Adonis must find and turn Rachel over to him to get them back. One look at the lovely huntress and he is torn between saving his family and keeping Rachel for himself.
Finding out that Piaras had murdered her parents has Rachel ready to help Adonis even though he is also one of those creatures she has been trained to destroy. Is it possible to work together to free his family, destroy the ruthless vampire and keep his "other" side from her hunter family?
HUNTRESS FOR HIRE is a fast paced thrill ride. Author Terry Spear knows how to develop intriguing characters and nail biting situations. I loved Rachel and Adonis right from the start, she isn't happy with the marrying off plans and Adonis realizes right away that he isn't going to be able to turn her over to save his family because ... she's his. The secondary characters build a strong support system for the whole plot and lead to a number of interesting scenarios. A little hunter jealousy didn't hurt a bit either... you will need to read HUNTRESS FOR HIRE to see who was jealous of whom. I hope Ms. Spear plans another book from this world as there were a couple of hunters who deserved to find their true loves as well as Rachel and Adonis did. Great read and will read again.
