But the two are as different in personality as night and day. On the way home after making some furniture deliveries in their buggy, Mark and Ben are run off the road by a truck. Ben only sustains a broken arm, but Mark is in a coma and has had to have his spleen removed. Neither brother has identification on them, so Ruth identifies them at the hospital. However, she does so incorrectly. She thinks that Ben is Mark because he is wearing a pair of gloves she knitted for Mark. Ben goes with the mistaken identity because he secretly is still in love with Ruth. They were dating before the more charismatic Mark wooed her his way. Ruth isn't sure in her own mind which brother she really loves. What will happen when Mark wakes up?

TWICE BLESSED will truly bless your heart with a double portion of love, laughter and adventure. Ms. Cameron incorporates some characters from other Amish stories she has written in this same setting. She paints these Amish young people as progressing into the twenty first century in many ways, yet staying true to their Amish culture and beliefs. Ms. Cameron also explores the special relationship between twins and how connected they are, even when they don't seem to be much alike. There are many delicious sounding confections and relishes mentioned throughout the story, and Ms. Cameron includes recipes for several of them at the end. Pick this one up for a quick, fun Christmas read you are sure to enjoy.
