Annie must deal with the issues of infidelity, deception, betrayal, prejudices, lies, guilt, forgiveness, and the pain of wanting something that may not ever belong to her. As Author Jodi Ellen Malpas states in the beginning of the book, I went into this story with an open mind and I absolutely enjoyed this book! THE FORBIDDEN will take you out of your comfort zone. It is filled with so much emotion. Sometimes life gives you the type of love that you are content with. One that is comfortable, and after awhile, you start to question why you entered into that relationship in the first place. Then life gives you a love that is unconditional, a fire burning from within, that consumes your life, where nothing and no one will diminish that love. This is that type of story.
