This psychological thriller will have you thinking twice about what you wish for... Things are not always as rosy as we think. HER NAME WAS ROSE by Claire Allan is a page turner that you will have a hard time forgetting. A woman witnesses another woman die, and it changes her life forever.

Emily lets a stranger who was pushing her toddler in a stroller walk out in front of her to cross the street when the stranger is hit by a car and dies. Emily helplessly watches the horrible scene. There was nothing she could and she cannot get it out of her mind. She obsesses over the dead woman, Rose, so much so that she checks out everything she can about her. Rose seemed to live a fairytale life and had everything. Emily becomes so preoccupied with Rose that she starts to move her way into the life that Rose left behind...

What an amazing storyline that did not end the way I would have thought. Very well written with lots of surprises. Claire Allan has a remarkable novel here that has all the elements of a great thriller! HER NAME WAS ROSE starts out catching your attention and holds it until the end. I couldn't wait to get home to read it every afternoon. I most certainly would recommend this psychological thriller to anyone who loves a great mystery.
