Kim Harrison delights fans by returning to her most prolific series, The Hollows. AMERICAN DEMON is the fourteenth book in the series and since it marks the return of everyone’s favorite witch-born demon, I would highly suggest reading the series in order.

The question that many readers probably have about this book is what more could happen if you’ve already saved the world? Harrison has her work cut out for her because readers' expectations will be high after the last rollercoaster ride she put us through. I think that she stayed true to Rachel and her gang of friends. With new murders and new characters, Harrison infuses the world that everyone has enjoyed already and gives it a fresh new kick. Loyal fans will absolutely eat this up.

You can expect a new demon as well as all the familiar faces of the cast. There is also a lot of interesting banter and action in this book. All in all,  AMERICAN DEMON by Kim Harrison delivers a fun and exciting new story with the same heart as the previous books. This bright new revival will hopefully keep readers happy and excited for what’s to come next.
