A Nor'easter is headed for Coldwater Cove, but that's not the only trouble brewing for the small Northern town.

Armed with her equipment, storm chaser Emma Ross is desperate to use her research to make sure no one has to live through what she has. But when she heads out to capture the storm, she captures more than just wind and snow on her radar: just ahead, there’s a teenage girl in distress. Emma attempts to help, and ends up wounded.

After three tours of duty, surviving conditions that would kill most and witnessing unspeakable acts, Navy Seal Gunner Nash is on leave, choosing the cove for its lack of tourists in the harsh winter months as his destination. Returning to safety, Emma and Gunner discover what Emma feared—a teenage girl has been kidnapped from the local ski academy. Determined not to let the girl down, intrepid Emma heads back into the storm, with Gunner on her heels. She knows storms, he knows survival. Can they work together to bring young Astrid home and maybe break down a few of their own walls along the way?
